Shah Rukh Khan, also known as King Khan is a Bollywood actor, Producer & entrepreneur. He has featured in more than 90 movies and got various distinctions including 14 Filmfare Awards.
Shah Rukh Khan’s motion pictures like Yes Chief (1997), Pardes (1997), Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), and Kuch Hota Hai (1998), cemented his standing as the King of Romance .
He was awarded the Padma Shri honor by the Indian government, the Ordre des Expressions et des Lettres, and the Leigon of Honour from the French government. Khan has a loyal fan base all through India and Asia.
Shah Rukh Khan’s age was 23 when he made his television debut with the Indian Hindi television series Fauji in 1989. Later ,he worked in various TV show before ,he made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with movie Deewana. Shah Rukh Khan had also won Best Debut Actor award for movie Deewana.
Shah Rukh Khan along with his wife Gauri Khan established Red Chillies Entertainment Private Limited in 2002, As of now Shah Rukh Khan is the founder and Managing Director of the company, while Gauri Khan serve as co- founder as well as Joint-Director of the company. Red Chillies Entertainment in partnership with Actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta own IPL franchise team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) .
In 2015 team owners group bought stake in Caribbean Premier League’s Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel, and renamed it Trinbago Knight Riders. In 2021, Knight Riders Group ,announced entry into South African T20 league with Cape Town Knight Riders.
Mr. Khan is also known for his Charity, through KKR and Meer Foundation SRK continues Charity for good and Noble cause. Mr. Khan had said an interview “I follow Quran which says if you do charity for a reason, it’s not a charity.
